Rihanna's 'Anti' Album May Drop On Friday

by Michelle Lulic

Is Rihanna going to pull a Beyonce with the release of her brand-new album? Possibly. In fact, rumors are swirling that the "B*tch Better Have My Money" singer could be dropping her new album very, very soon. Like, Rihanna's album Anti might come out on Friday-level soon. Or, at least, that's the latest possibility for the singer's highly-anticipated album that has since remained without an official release date. Rumors were first sparked regarding the album's release after The Associated Press seemed to have tweeted and deleted an apparent release date of Friday, November 27 last Thursday, to be happening through Jay-Z's Tidal streaming service. However, as the date came and went, all of the album release speculation seemed to grow a bit weary.

But Page Six is reporting that inside sources have said the album will in fact be dropped tomorrow. And, considering that the singer has already released undated promos for the album along with a Samsung partnership — and that she has already announced that her Anti tour will be kicking-off in February 2016 — there's hope that this news could possible be true. Other sources placing tomorrow as a possible drop date include the Twitter account Music News & Facts — which is also reporting their predictions in the following Tweet.

What we do know is that, whenever Rihanna's album finally does drop, it'll most likely be a sure-fire hit. After all, just the other day Spotify revealed that Rihanna was named the most-streamed female artist in 2015 — with over a billion streams and no new album to help. But, all-in-all, it looks like we're just going to have to wait and hope that we can listen to this album soon.

Hopefully playing her already released singles on repeat and watching this Anti album promo can hold us off until then.
