Nicole Richie's Hair Is More Festive Than Ever

The holidays are all about being merry and bright, which are two things this star kept in mind when planning her new hair color. Nicole Richie has blue hair again, but this time better than ever. If you thought her hair was fabulous before, just wait until you see this lovely mix of hues. Richie's no stranger to a little hair change, but with the perfect blonde canvas, can you even blame her?

This little holiday-ready blend of silver, blue, and even a little purple will have you mesmerized. She posted a picture of her hair change to her Instagram, and from the looks of it, the base is a dimensional mix of both silver and blue, while the bangs have a hint of purple. Somehow Richie can pull off the most drastic hair changes and still look absolutely gorgeous.

She rocked a heavy lined cat-eye liner with a dark red lip that went well with her new out-there hair color, along with a white choker, an all-white outfit, and classic red nails. I'd definitely be open to some Richie beauty tips any time she'd like to come share them, because I love how great she makes unconventional hair look. Check out her fantastic new 'do below, but be warned — it's going to make you want to reach for the blue hair dye.

Until I hear otherwise, I'm going to chalk Richie hair expertise up her experience. She's rocked a whole lot of colorful 'dos lately and made each hue look even more wearable than the last. Just look at how many colorful styles she's landed over the years.

1. Bright Pink

She went bold with this color, but it looked just as elegant as her typical blonde shade.

2. Platinum Blonde

Richie always seems to go back to her natural hue, but this look was a little bit lighter.

3. Lovely Lilac

This was one of Richie's fan favorite looks. She wasn't the first to rock the lilac trend, but she is one of the few who made it look fabulous.

4. Dark Brown

The star even had a brunette phase back in the day, but it wasn't for long.

5. Blazing Blue

She's never shied away from shocking hues either. Richie rocked blue for the better part of 2014.

6. Strawberry Bronde

Richie blended blonde, brown, and red to make this lovely strawberry bronde color.

7. All Gray

Shining even brighter than her all-white gown, the star rocked bright gray hair to the 2013 Met Gala.

There's no color this hair pro won't try!
