Meet The Dress Designed By Emily Ratajkowski

by Kelsey Nguyen

Still on the hunt for that perfect holiday frock? Look no further: Emily Ratajkowski has joined forces with designer Christy Dawn on a four-piece dress collaboration. Get ready for a revamped winter — this season, it's all about channeling West Coast vibes, EmRata style. Ratajkowski may be a smoldering on-screen siren, but the model and actress can now also add "designer" to her repertoire. Enlisting the help of trusty friend Christy Dawn, the duo crafted a sleek collection of skater dresses — but with a bohemian twist. The take? Bell sleeves and square necklines for a vintage yet contemporary feel. The chic frocks come in four styles, ranging from classic black to lush blue.

"I thought about the ideal dress I would want to wear," Ratajkowski told Who What Wear. "I wanted [to be able to] dress it up or down through the different seasons." The dresses are deeply rooted in the casual cool essence; in the end, it's about versatility and tailoring the dresses for any occasion — whether that means a 70 degree winter in LA or a snowstorm in NYC.

But the collection also come with a cause: Ratajkowski and Dawn plan to donate 25 percent of all proceeds to Planned Parenthood. This is retail therapy done right.
