Gina Rodriguez Is Little Black Dress Goals
Television's favorite pregnant virgin, Gina Rodriguez is your holiday dress LBD goals. She attended a celebration for Moët & Chandon and the Golden Globe's 25th partnership anniversary hosted at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, where Rodriguez, producer David Guillod, and others judged the Moët Moment Film Festival Competition. The competition is designed for aspiring filmmakers, one of whom will be selected to receive a $25,000 filmmaking grant and a trip for two to the 73rd Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2016.
Now, all of that is awesome, but what I was focused on was Rodriguez's amazing dress choice. It was versatile, simple, but also absolutely stunning. The cut-outs in the shoulders were flattering and appropriate for the occasion, but also gave the dress a little spice. How does something so simple look so perfect? Well, part of it has to do with how perfect the actress looks normally: she is adorable and her hair is long, shiny, beautiful, and almost an accessory in itself. The other part is the fit and cut of the dress. It's a classic fitted cut, with a good length, and short sleeves.
Let's check out the stunning number in action on Rodriguez (plus a tower of champagne).
I could see it both at this party and at the office! I could definitely see me in it with a glass of champagne! Which is why I wanted to recreate this look for the betterment of holiday parties everywhere.
