2 Students Injured In Philadelphia School Shooting

At approximately 3.30 p.m. Friday afternoon, two students were shot at the Delaware Valley Charter High School in the Logan area of Philadelphia. One victim was male and the other was female, and they were both reportedly struck in the arm. They were both shot in the arm near the school's gymnasium, allegedly by another student, who was tracked down by police several miles away an hour later. The suspect was taken into custody.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the two students are in stable condition. It's not yet clear whether the shooting was purposeful or an accident, police said. You can watch live coverage of the unfolding incident here.

The school's 600 students are being searched individually and then allowed to leave, and police are reportedly already viewing security-camera footage from inside the school building. Philadelphia police Tweeted that parents should report to a nearby location.
