Celebs Geek Out At The 'Star Wars' Premiere
I always knew that people really dug Star Wars, I just didn’t know how many people did and how much they dug it. Because, let me tell you, there were a ton of celebrities at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere that were geeking out, and it was a true spectacle. I suppose it just goes to show that it doesn’t matter if you’re famous or not, Star Wars love is universal. And it’s especially loved by those who star in the movie, because their pride for their part in this piece of cinematic history was evident in their enthusiastic pictures from the night.
The best part about the famous sector of the Star Wars fandom is that they chose some very typical and relatable ways to show their excitement. Be it with their fashion choices, their glee in posing with the stars of the movie, cosplay, or by posing like the film’s characters, this red carpet was like Comic Con for celebrities. And, honestly, it’s so glorious to see them freak out like the rest of us over a beloved fictional world.
Here are a multitude of celebrities who embraced their geekiness at the Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiere.
John Boyega
As the Daily Mail points out, his single glove is a fitting tribute to Luke Skywalker. Now, THAT'S how you walk the Star Wars red carpet, friends.
Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello
Princess Leia would be super proud.
Harry Shum
Look at that excited face!
Darren Criss & Harry Shum
I hope they don't think anyone has forgotten the strangely wonderful Glee Star Wars/Christmas episode.

So many Princess Leias!

Posing with Finn? Priceless.

Nothing like a romantic picture with your husband... and Star Wars paraphernalia.
R2-D2 & C-3PO
Damn, they look good.
Storm Troopers
Those Storm Troopers really laid it on thick, didn't they?

Fisher and her daughter are both keeping the Princess Leia tradition alive. I mean, did you see her character on Scream Queens?
Lupita Nyong'o
YASSSS!
Gina Rodriguez
This dress is a literal representation of the light and dark side of The Force, right?
Gwendolyn Christie
Do my eyes deceive me or is that a LIGHT SABER RING?! Yeah, it totally is.
