Jennifer Lawrence Just Wore The Coolest LBD

by Rosie Narasaki

What with her latest Golden Globe nomination in the bag, and the premiere of Joy drawing ever nearer, this actress has been showcasing quite the fabulous wardrobe. Her latest outfit/outing? Well, Jennifer Lawrence wore a glam Mugler LBD on Late Night with Seth Meyers — and she absolutely killed it.

The dress in question, which comes from Mugler's spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection, featured a sexy, body-skimming silhouette, and some gorgeous geometric cut-out panel detailing on the bodice. Lawrence styled the look to a T, pairing it with her near-signature icy blonde long bob, some fresh-faced makeup, and some slay-worthy silver strappy sandals (Aquazurra, and in case you were wondering, they retail for a cool $850). In other words? It was the absolute perfect ensemble in which to reveal to her host for the evening that she almost asked him out — yep, the Hunger Games star seriously considered giving Seth Meyers her phone number back when she hosted Saturday Night Live back in 2012 (in fact, the only reason she didn't is because one of the wardrobe assistants informed her that he was engaged, just in the nick of time).

Missed connections aside, it's quite the outfit to behold, and it's incidentally not the first time Lawrence has stunned in designs from Mugler — let's take a look at some of her best moments the brand from across the years.

What with Mockingjay Part 2 and Joy, she's worn a lot of killer ensembles over the past few months — and this is definitely one of her best.
