'Broad City' Stars Snag A 'Flare' Cover
Have you gotten a chance to see Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson's Flare cover? Rather fittingly, the two Broad City stars covered the magazine's "Love + Sex" edition, and it's absolutely fabulous in every way you would anticipate and more.
Plus, it probably goes without saying, but the above-mentioned magazine cover also happens to be accompanied by a must-read editorial: The interview is filled with absolute gems, focusing in particular on their rise to power (at one point, both women started crying at the memory of Amy Poehler signing on to executive-produce their show, to which Glazer responded, “This is very female, and I don’t give a sh*t. I am a woman, hear me roar.”). They also paid lip service to their ultra-sex positive stance, as well as their iconic friendship — Jacobsen even extemporaneously composed a faux Sex in the City-esque voiceover for their show, thus fulfilling dreams you didn't even know you had. It's all pretty memorable and should not be missed, to say the very least.
Suffice it to say, it's quite the interview — in fact, in the words of Glazer herself, "This might be the best f*cking interview I’ve ever had in my life." Luckily for us, the cover is, every bit as delightful as its two subjects.
No one shoots a fashion editorial quite like these two Broad City stars. Let's celebrate by looking back at a few more of their style hits from across the years.
