The Countess Wants Martha Stewart To Be Cool

If you're still trying to get over that major Real Housewives of New York City fight that took place in Turks and Caicos, brace yourself. According to Page Six, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps and Martha Stewart exchanged some heated words at New York City's Baccarat Hotel while dining with Qatari Ambassador to the United States Mohammed Jaham Al Kuwari. Well, as soon as RHONY was brought up, Stewart reportedly slammed the Bravo series and de Lesseps was not pleased.

"[The ambassador] said he knew that [de Lesseps] was on a TV show and that he would love to be on it, and Stewart leaned in and whispered, 'You don’t want to do that. It’s lowbrow, very B-list,'" a source told Page Six. It seems that The Countess heard Stewart and "loudly" said, "Martha, I can hear you." This might not even be true, but I can absolutely hear de Lesseps saying that. Anyone else? That's such a Countess thing to utter.

If you think the alleged argument stopped there, you're wrong. Stewart seemingly tried to play it off as a joke, but de Lesseps reportedly fired back, "Should I tell him about your shady past?" Apparently, none of this influenced the ambassador, because he apparently still wants to be on RHONY. How did The Countess react? By declaring, "Aha!" and walking away.

Page Six reports "Stewart confirmed her part of the exchange," but the same can't be said for de Lesseps. Whatever the case, everyone needs to learn when you're around The Countess, you need to be cool. When you're all uncool, well, it's just not classy.
