Look What She Wore to the Dior Show

by Mary Avant

She may be neurotically insane on HBO’s hit show GIRLS, but Allison Williams is quickly becoming insanely stylish both on the red carpet and in everyday life. In fact, Williams may have singlehandedly secured her status as a Hollywood fashion icon with the stunning look she showed off at the Christian Dior Haute Couture spring show in Paris.

Decked out from head to toe in some of the finest Dior wares on the market, Williams sported burgundy leather leggings, a woven peplum top in the same rich hue, a Dior-emblazoned mini tote, and pointy orange-trimmed pumps. For the sartorial cherry on top, she finished the look with minimal makeup, soft curls, and the most perfectly posh camel coat you could ever image.

Though she looked amazing, Williams wasn’t the only star shining at the Dior show on Monday. Actress Kate Bosworth made an appearance in a super-shiny plaid shell-and-skirt combo, while actress Olga Kurylenko strutted her stuff in a patterned crop-top and curve-hugging tulip skirt. But Williams was by far the most polished of the bunch, a situation she’s becoming more and more accustomed to as designers scramble to suit her classic, lady-like style with breathtakingly beautiful pieces.

Her growing interest in fashion has the star more excited than ever to delve into the world of high-end designers and the art they create — a perk she claims was pleasantly unexpected. Williams recently told ElleUK.com that developing an interest in fashion has been an “illuminating experience,” adding:

Fashion wasn't initially something I knew would be part of my career, but being exposed to amazing designers for special events opened my eyes to how fascinating the fashion industry is.

Her budding love of fashion has certainly shown through in her outfit choices of late, as the gorgeous star has been wearing more illustrious designers throughout the 2014 awards show season and for GIRLS premieres across the globe. Donning Alexander McQueen not once, but two times in the last several weeks (at the Golden Globes and again at the GIRLS U.K. premiere) and a stunningly polished David Koma dress at the 2014 People’s Choice Awards, Williams is proving time and time again that she’s become the queen of sophisticated style — a title we’re sure the elegant-beyond-her-years star is proud to claim.
