In 1994 one of the best TV comedies of all time debuted. Yes, I'm referring to Friends. The series lasted for 10 years and now thankfully Monica Geller, Chandler Bing, Ross Geller, Rachel Green, Joey Tribbiani, and Phoebe Buffay will forever be a part of our lives. Unfortunately, not everyone feels that way, nor do they even know anything about the show. Shocking, right? Well, it's about to get even more unfathomable. Kylie Jenner can't name any Friends characters. Let that sink in for a moment.
While chatting with Elle U.K., the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said, "A character of Friends? What is that? I know what Friends is. I mean, I don't watch Friends, but I know what it is." Seriously, who can't name any of the Friends characters? Seeing as Jenner was born in 1997 (three years after Friends premiered), I guess it's no surprise. Also, she was only seven when the series came to an end. So obviously, she wasn't watching it during its prime.
That said, doesn't she watch the syndicated episodes? Friends airs on TBS and Nick at Nite, among a bunch of other networks. It's kind of hard to miss, not to mention seeing as Friends is still extremely beloved in 2015, you would think she'd want to educate herself about it.
But, hey, maybe she has zero interest, so I can't fault her for that — even though she should absolutely take the time to acquaint herself with the Central Perk gang. It's very hard for me to come to terms that there are people who have never watched the comedy and know nothing about it. I guess that's like me knowing nothing about the beloved shows from when my parents were my age.
Anyways, the Friends characters feel the exact same way as I do, because they're having some strong reactions to the 18-year-old reality star not knowing who they are. Check it out.
