Men Caught on Video Assaulting LGBT Youth After Pride

After Pride Sunday night, two men on a Queens-bound New York City subway train were caught on video harassing a group of LGBT youth. After noticing a concerned woman recording the incident on her phone, one of the men attacked her, and tried to snatch her phone away. She ran to other side of the train to alert the authorities, and was chased by the second man.

This video below points out both assailants, who have still not been arrested. This hate crime reminds us all that despite the successes of last week, the fight for the safety and well-being of all LGBTQ-identified people (and their allies) is far from over.
