Nicki Minaj's Motto Is New Year, New Hair

When it comes to changing hair color, this lady knows what she’s doing. Nicki Minaj dyed her hair blonde to ring in the New Year because maybe she was in the mood to have a little more fun in 2016 — you know what they say about blondes and fun, after all. Her new ‘do is sleek and straight with bangs straight across her forehead. And I must say, I’m loving her new year, new hair motto.

She couldn’t look more amazing with this latest hairstyle, but then again, Minaj does no wrong in terms of hair color (or anything else, for that matter). This isn’t the first time she’s rocked this lighter shade, in fact, she’s bleached her hair blonde before, so this look is a little tame, in comparison. Black, pink, multicolored — she somehow manages to pull off any and every color because she’s got a real gift. She looks amazing with a wide variety of hues on her head, so more power to her. Rock every shade in the rainbow if you want to, Minaj!

See her latest dye job along with six other times she’s owned some golden locks. And get excited for all of the hair colors and more to come from Minaj in 2016 because I know she’s got plenty more where this came from.

This light hair/dark root combo is everything.

This is basically the hair she has now, only much lighter.

Loose curls and dark roots play are both hard and soft, and I love the juxtaposition.

5. Bold & Bright

Bright colors are kind of her thing.

6. Oh So Voluminous

The bigger the better, am I right?

Her 2016 is already off to a good start, as far as I'm concerned.
