'Batman V Superman' Clip Gives All The Feels

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens craziness is just starting to wind down, and now it's time to gear up for the next big franchise hitting the silver screen, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. DC Comics' newest attempt at bringing comic book fan favorites together is already a little more than two months away. Before we know it, Superman, a brand-new Batman, and (finally) this generation's Wonder Woman, will all be fighting against each other — and with each other — to stop the evil that is Lex Luthor and Doomsday. I'm so excited! However, aside from the already released trailers, there's a new Batman V Superman clip that director Zack Snyder released on Conan on Wednesday night... and it's giving me some totally different feels.

Although brief, the new clip brings us a glimpse of a showdown between Batman and Superman that is more dramatic than a soap opera. There isn't exactly much to judge from just the short scene, but it does make me wonder: How exactly is this rivalry between Batman and Superman going to play out? Yes, fighting and punching are things they could do — and it seems like some serious smack talk is in the direction they're going — but the DC Comics franchise is lacking the much needed momentum. When it comes to the Marvel Universe, Iron Man and Captain America duking it out in Captain America: Civil War makes sense in relation to everything else. We had numerous movies to warm up to their complex relationship. However, with the Batman V Superman movie, we're being asked to get used to Ben Affleck as Batman and totally accept that they hate one another right off the bat... (pun intended). So, is the whole movie just going to be made up of two macho, good-looking men fighting for their own egos, with Wonder Woman having to separate them before the testosterone levels get too high?

The reasoning behind why Superman and Batman seem to dislike each other so much right off away is something that we really need in the new film, because this clip has them going from zero to 100 real quick. Watch it for yourself.
