Kate Winslet's Oscars Dress Will Look Like This

If there’s anything I’ve noticed about this woman’s red carpet style, it’s that classic shapes and bold colors are her thing. What will Kate Winslet wear to the 2016 Oscars? Well, it’s sure to be a gown with a simple silhouette and a daring color. Last time she was nominated for an Oscar she wore a fitted metallic number, and I have a feeling that this year’s ensemble will be in the same vein.

Why would I say that? Well, it’s because that’s what she’s been doing for years. Winslet is a classic beauty with a classic style, and that seems to work well for her. Red carpet appearance after red carpet appearance, she’s shown how truly great she is at pulling off any color imaginable, and if you ask me, she’s got a real gift. I, for one, am extremely excited to see what hue she’ll flawlessly wear this year.

Most recently, she’s worked a lot of blue and black, so I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s got something big planned for the Oscars red carpet. You’ve got to do it just right when you’re nominated for Best Supporting Actress, now don’t you? Of course! And I’m sure, Winslet, of all people, will not disappoint.

She kept it subdued at the Golden Globes, but maybe that's because she was saving something big for the Oscars, you know?

She is owning that royal blue color.

And she's not afraid to rock a red, either.

If she's going to wear navy, it's sure to be in the most elegant way.

It was such a hit last time, so maybe she'll opt for something shiny again this year?

With so many different options, how could anyone ever choose which dress she should wear? I'm definitely going to leave it up to her because she definitely knows best.
