When Can You Go Take A Selfie With CaKe?

by Julia Musto

On Tuesday, Madame Tussauds announced that everyone's favorite modeling duo, CaKe aka Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner's wax figures will debut on Feb. 8 as a teaser to London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2016. And yeah, I'm kind of freaking out.

According to Madame Tussauds London, both models attended extensive sittings with sculptors to create insanely lifelike models down to the centimeter. Delevingne's figure will be posed on the catwalk in Yves Saint Laurent, and Kendall will be "readying herself backstage." Guests of the LFW partner event will also be able to strut down the catwalk to the amusement of Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue Anna Wintour. Good luck with that one, stylites.

According to the museum's website, Madame Tussauds is also giving 30 people the chance to preview the experience before it launches. In addition to being one of the first to see the CaKe wax figures on Feb. 6, this small group of visitors will get mini hair and makeup treatments.

However, with the fact that London is more than just a pond away to us over in the great old U-S-of-A, we have to wonder when we Americans will get the chance to post our selfies on Instagram too. I mean, a girl who makes bank could fly to London whenever she wants, but it is my expressed hope that the wax figures will come to NYC Tussauds in the near future.

I reached out to Madame Tussauds about whether or not the CaKe gals will ever make their way to the U.S., but so far haven't heard back. Until that day, all we can do is wait and get teased by Instagram posts from our favorite models.

Don't these seem creepily real?!

This also looks exactly like Kendall! Oh wait, never mind. That's actually her.

I'll be obsessively refreshing the #waxCaKe page until those figures are revealed.
