If you thought candy-colored hair was so last year, think again. Hilary Duff debuted pink hair after emerging from a salon in West Hollywood on Wednesday, which leaves me wondering — are pastel hues making a comeback? It seems Duff is paving the path for the resurgence of this trend, and just in time to usher in spring (almost).
The 28-year-old was spotted leaving Nine Zero One hair salon with a mane that looked drastically different than the bright blonde bob she went in with. While she kept the chin-length cut, it appears, her platinum locks have been transformed to a muted magenta color that is so gorgeous, I'm kind of considering doing it too.
Lavender must be Duff's favorite color, because this isn't the first time she went pinkish-purple with her hair. About a year or so ago, the actress revealed purple tresses on Instagram, but it's a little different this time around. Her first attempt at purple was a bit more subdued, comprised of a silvery base that gradually faded into dispersed lilac strips. This time, though, it seems she went for a full-on dye job because the pink hue was all over her hair. Check out both pink styles.
Totally different looks, right?
Let's reflect on some the other celebrities who have dabbled in pink hair, since pastel locks are clearly coming back into style.
