Allison Williams Got Bangs That'll Inspire You To Make The Fringe Chop, Too — PHOTO
I think it's safe to say that at one time or another, everyone has decided on a drastic hair change at an ungodly hour. But when you're a celeb, you can actually, y'know, follow through at an ungodly hour. Girls actor Allison Williams got bangs at 3 a.m. (!!!), proving that some good decisions do happen after midnight.
In an Instagram post (that most of us did not see until the sun came up), Williams posted a selfie with her new 'do. "It's 3:20 am and @mrchrismcmillan just banged me," she wrote. The caption was almost as good as the hair itself, but not quite, because this fringe is seriously lust-worthy. Hairstylist Chris McMillan's masterpiece is perfectly piece-y and chic.
Although I would have loved to see her with a trendy lob to accompany her new bangs, I understand the whole "baby steps" thing. Come to think of it, Williams isn't exactly the hair chameleon that some celebs are. Since breaking out on Lena Dunham's hit HBO show, we haven't seen much change with her long brunette locks.
This hair update wasn't without reason, unsurprisingly – Williams followed up with an Instagram post sharing that her new hair is for a role (and that she took 1,000 mediocre selfies after the deed was done. Although I doubt the whole "mediocre" part.)
The bangs in action look just as good, too:
Although I'm excited to see her new bangs on the red carpet soon, her old style certainly had its moments. These five fringe-free hairdos are worth remembering.
Sleek And Pinned Back
This polished style from Michael Kors' NYFW show last February looked amazing from the front and the back...
Retro Faux Bob
Even though she didn't go for a real bob with her most recent chop job, we already know it'd look fabulous on her (see: her 2015 Golden Globes style.)
Perfect Middle Part
Allison Williams, or Olivia Palermo? This blown-out style is definitely middle part #goals.
Allison's hairstyles tend to be a little more done-up for appearances, but this beachy textured look brings an effortless cool vibe.
This jeweled bun was anything but blah at the Girls season three premiere. It looked pretty great when Allison was serving some serious face from the front, too.
