Emily Ratajkowski Joins Marc Jacobs' Squad

The first fashion squad of 2016 has formed and the addition of Emily Ratajkowski in Marc Jacobs' spring/summer 2016 ad campaign completes the star-studded lineup. The brand unveiled its latest campaign last month, featuring a truly diverse cast of artists, legends, and models that represents what makes up the country today. In an accompanying caption for the photo, Jacobs said why Ratajkowski is a frequent collaborator and friend.

"Sexy, smart, and all around wonderful," Jacobs wrote. The designer met the 24-year-old actress and model around Valentines Day last year. Soon after, Ratajkowski appeared in an ad for the Marc Jacobs fall 2015 collection as well as making her runway debut in his New York Fashion Week show along with Kendall Jenner, Beth Ditto, and Bella Hadid. Both Ditto and Hadid, as well as Hollywood legend Bette Midler, are also featured in other images from the SS 2016 campaign, photographed by David Sims. Ratajkowski wears a sailor-inspired ensemble for the campaign, which she previously wore while walking at the NYFW show.

With a spot in Jacobs' celebrity-filled and diversity-celebrating ad campaign, Ratajkowski's on track to have another major year in fashion.
