Blue Ivy Is Cooler Than Basically All Of Us
While the rest of us were completely mesmerized by Coldplay's half time show performance — featuring Beyoncé and Bruno Mars — something even more magical was going on elsewhere in the stadium. What we didn't see was happening in the VIP box, where Blue Ivy was hanging out with Gwyneth Paltrow and her kids... or was it Paltrow who had the honor of hanging out with Blue Ivy? And of the photos taken of the heir to Bey's throne and the Goop CEO, they seem to be getting along pretty well, especially since there were kisses involved.
Really, this development should not come as a shock to anyone. Blue Ivy and Paltrow getting chummy behind the scenes is something we all should have anticipated, being that her mom was performing and of course Paltrow, super supportive ex-wife of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, would be there with their children to see him play. I mean, Paltrow even Instagrammed her daughter Apple and Blue Ivy walking hand in hand together. It seems like just another adorable moment at face value, but when you think about it, it's really just another reminder that Blue Ivy has done more cool things in the four years she's been alive than the rest of us will ever do during our entire time on Earth.
Not jealous of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's offspring just yet? Don't worry — you're about to be.
1. She Starred In Music Videos
Her latest appearance is in Beyoncé's "Formation" video, but it's not her first. She starred in the video for "Blue," too — appropriate, since the song is about her and all.
2. She Got To Hang Out On The VMA Stage
How many people can say that?! You know, besides the ones who have performed and received awards, but all Blue Ivy did was be born.
3. She Walked On Super Bowl Turf
And honestly, she probably didn't even realize it. But at least it made for some pretty sweet pictures she'll definitely appreciate as she gets older!
4. She Recorded A Song With Beyoncé
This automatically makes her a legend, even if she was just talking on a track with her mom.
5. She Became The Youngest Person Ever To Top The Billboard Charts
When Blue Ivy was born, Jay-Z recorded her cries as she was born on his track about her, "Glory." The song debuted at 74 on the Billboard charts on January 21, 2012 — just 14 days after her birth — and since she's credited as a featured artist, that makes her the youngest person to appear on the Billboard charts in history. How will anyone ever beat that record?!
6. She Travels The World
Basically anywhere her parents go, Blue Ivy goes, and they've taken her to so many awesome places. Tropical vacations, historical sites... name it and Blue Ivy has probably already been there.
7. She's Met The President
I mean, Obama is friends with Blue Ivy's parents, and they attended Michelle Obama's birthday party in 2014 as a family, so yeah, I'm guessing she and POTUS are bros. Jealous!
It's official: Blue Ivy's life is the coolest. Why do the rest of us even try?
