Aubrey & Anna Are Friendship Goals In This Trailer

by Mary Grace Garis

If you have decent Internet connection and enjoy laughing until your stomach hurts, you probably follow Anna Kendrick on Twitter. Likewise, you’re probably well informed about her hilarious-in-its-own-right relationship with BFF Aubrey Plaza. Well, hold your hats for this: the trailer for Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates has hit the Internet, and it stars your favorite social media duo, Kendrick and Plaza, united on a non-laptop screen at long last.

The plot, from my understanding, revolves around two hard-partying brothers (Zac Efron and Adam Devine, what up) who need to find nice, respectable dates for their sister’s wedding. Unfortunately, they’re duped by Alice and Tatiana (our girls), who use them as a free ride to Hawaii and an excuse to get absolutely wild (I was gonna say “slizzard” but I think that term is like six years too old). I think it’s fair to say that wackiness ensues.

The girls steal the show, even in a film that features 1/3rds of the Workaholics and Headmaster Zefron, but that should come as no surprise. I think it’s fair to say that Plaza and Kendrick's Twitter exchanges have solidified them as BFFs you don’t want to mess with. Feel free to check out the trailer below, and then scroll down for definitive proof that the boys should watch their back.

Needless to say, I'm pretty psyched to see what kind of chaos our girls can do outside of the confines of 140 characters.
