Who Is The Shooter At The Arizona HS Shooting?

Friday morning, two people were injured in a shooting at Independence High School, and the identity of the Arizona school shooter is not yet known. ABC15 reported that two people were shot and at least one person has died, though the police have not released many details. The police are investigating a double shooting at the school in Glendale, 10 miles northwest of Phoenix, and tweeted that the shooting was isolated.

The Associated Press reported that two 15-year-old girls have been left dead after the shooting, and the police confirmed the deaths. Both 10th grade students were found outside the school with one gunshot wound. The weapon was found nearby, and the police told reporters they couldn't confirm whether it was a homicide-suicide or a double suicide. However, the authorities don't believe a shooter is at-large. "We don't believe that there's any suspects that are out there... that we're searching for," Glendale police officer Tracey Breeden told reporters Friday.

Emergency responders and police were on the scene, closing down the surrounding roads. The Glendale police department tweeted: "The school and neighborhood are safe."
