AnnaSophia Robb's New Lob Is Totally Different

by Sienna Fantozzi

Spring is so close, you can almost feel it (emphasis on almost), so why not prepare yourself and get excited by getting a new-season haircut? AnnaSophia Robb got a lob, according to People Magazine, and even though she's had one before, this one is totally different.

Robb cut a lob last year, right when the trend was basically exploding, but then grew her hair out to well below shoulder length. But it looks like she missed her shorter locks, because the actor stepped out for New York Fashion Week over the weekend and showed off a new lob, which is basically the story of my hair life. Cut your hair, wish it was long, then it gets long, and you wish it was short. The struggle is so real.

The actor's new lob hits just above her shoulder, and is highly texturized for an edgier feel. She wore it with a slightly off-center part and styled in messy waves, helping it look totally relaxed and effortless. Which is a must when warmer weather hits.

Whether she actually preferred her hair shorter, or just wanted to lighten up a bit for spring, I'm totally digging her new (old) cut.

Having textured layers helps waves hold their shape more, and I love how the messy hair contrasts her more glam outfit.

It's fun, modern, and definitely updates her look a bit. Not that I didn't love her long hair:

But the shorter hair is better for warmer weather, and shows off her gorgeous face more. Compared to her old lob, though, her new one is far edgier:

It wasn't as textured, and she styled it more sleek and polished.

Both looks are great, but I think her textured lob may be my favorite:

So cute. Easy, undone hairstyles FTW!
