Introducing Taco Bell's Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider

by Jessica Learish

Watch out Pizza Hut and KFC, the Garlic Knots Stuffed Crust Pizza and the infamous Double Down are about to have a new roommate in the pantheon of weird and wonderful fast food creations. A Taco Bell Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider is hitting stores exclusively in Canada, and while you likely won’t find these bad boys on American menus anytime soon, when it comes to wacky food hybrids, there’s no denying that this is a wonderful time to be alive.

In fact, now might be the perfect time to plan your next great Canadian adventure. Travel across the Northern border to get three Cheetos Crunchwrap Sliders — you’ll need three because the crunchy orange goodness will be available in three glorious presentations. How does one choose between the richness of beefy cheddar, the zesty and hot spicy chicken, or the inimitable Supreme? If you're wondering, the Supreme contains ground beef, nacho cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, and, obviously, Cheetos.

But, of course, this won't be Taco Bell's first rodeo into the hybridizing of fast Mexican cuisine and bags of chips. Still available at Taco Bell stores across the United States are items like the Doritos Cheesy Gordita Crunch and the Beefy Fritos Burrito.

As for the Cheetos Crunchwrap up for discussion? As you can imagine, people are pretty excited about it.

Props to that last Twitter user for her vision and ambition. Personally, I'm holding out hope that Taco Bell will get on the California burrito game and start filling those bad boys with French fries, next. So, to all my Canadian friends, when you're trying to decide where to pick up your late-night snack this Friday, you're welcome. There's a Cheetos Crunchwrap Slider with your name on it, and I’m pretty jealous.
