Olivia Palemo's Secret Skin Weapon Is Under $10
Drugstores have been seriously amping up the beauty game lately, and even celebrities are noticing. It turns out that body washes and makeup aren't the only affordable products worth shopping there, either. Olivia Palermo hides her blemishes with a drugstore product that will cost you less than $10. If you think that's great, just wait until you see how many other celebs that swear by drugstore skincare items.
Along with her killer style and fabulous accessories, Palermo's skin always looks absolutely flawless, and now her secret is out. According to Byrdie, Palermo has a genius way of covering her blemishes that only costs $8. The secret is Cortizone 10. While this product is normally used for rashes, Palermo's makeup artist, Daniel Martin, swears by it for getting rid of swelling before covering up a blemish. This creates the illusion of smooth skin, even if that's not the case.
“Before I try to cover a challenging spot, I want to take the redness and swollen area down first," Martin told Byrdie. “This treats and also protects the blemish from the concealing and layering I’ll do with makeup.”
That's genius! Not only do you get clearer looking skin, but the blemish is actually protected from all the makeup that could potentially make it worse. No wonder Palermo always looks so fabulous.
It turns out that she isn't the only one who uses drugstore skincare for beautiful looking skin either.
