Emma Roberts has been known to rock a trend or two, from the round mirrored sunnies she sported at Coachella 2014 to the cropped denim flares she was recently spotted in while running errands in LA to her most recent Instagram of what might be the coolest backpack ever. While Emma Roberts’ backpack might seem simple at first, it most definitely is not. Like most of the cool-girl trends she cheerleads, it is both functional and fashionable. What more could you ask for?
While it might be hard to think of a backpack as a fashion accessory after lugging it to school and back through my entire adolescent life, the 2016 renditions of the carry-all look nothing like the pink canvas bag I used to rock one-shouldered around the schoolyard. Believe it or not, backpacks are starting to look pretty cool.
