This Nail Art Tutorial Helps You Celebrate Easter

by Kali Borovic

If you're looking for a way to celebrate this upcoming holiday in style, the you're in luck. Shay Mitchell created an Easter nail art tutorial with celebrity nail artist Steph Stone, and its super easy to recreate. Now you can celebrate this spring holiday while looking fabulous at the same time. If you've grown out of dying eggs, then just decorate your fingers like them instead! Bunny ears are optional, but highly encouraged.

Mitchell has some pretty awesome beauty tutorials on her YouTube channel, but her most unique are by far the ones for nail art. Her new Easter video is the perfect way to brighten up your spring and celebrate in style. The tutorial is super easy to recreate and her step-by-step guidance makes this a really easy way to spice up an outfit last minute. All you need is seven shades of polish and a little patience to get a look that will steal the show on Easter Sunday.

First, start out with a bottom coat of the color you want. Mitchell used all pastels — purple, white, yellow, blue and pink — but it could easily work with neons or whatever else you have laying around the house. Then, using a striping brush and the end of a paintbrush, paint on the decorations in whatever pattern you'd like. It doesn't get much easier than that!

This nail art might be simple to create, but no one will be able to tell. You could even add a little chocolate bar instead of the carrot on that pinkie to really get in the Easter mood.
