Lauren Conrad Had A Mini 'Laguna Beach' Reunion

by Ashani Jodha

There was a class of 2004 Laguna Beach High School reunion Wednesday night, and your faves — Lauren Conrad, Trey Phillips and Dieter Schmitz — all attended. No, I'm not talking about a new MTV special with all the cast members of the 2004 teen reality drama, Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County reuniting (though how groundbreaking and incredible would that be?!) — I'm talking about a good ol' fashioned hang out sesh between three of the cast members we grew up watching. At the launch of Conrad's new party-planning book Celebrate in New York, friends Phillips and Schmitz attended to support Conrad's newest career milestone.

The three schoolmates flashed stunning smiles and held up their glasses in Instagram shots posted by Phillips and Schmitz. Though it's not an MTV special, the photos are awesome enough that they provide the nostalgia jolt fans desperately need. After starring together for two seasons on the reality series, it seems as though these three have not missed a beat.

Under the image posted on Phillips' account (shown below), the former reality star posted a caption that posed as a sweet congratulations to his fellow co-star: "Congrats @laurenconrad on her new incredibly gorgeous and useful book. And a great party to boot! @dieterschmitz."

Schmitz followed Phillips' example a few hours later by posting his own image of the event, congratulating Conrad in a more hilarious way:

Though Conrad may be the most well-known of the LB crew (thanks to receiving her own spin-off The Hills and going on to become a fashion mogul), Conrad's co-stars are also continuing to make a name for themselves in New York. Currently, according to E! Online, Phillips is an associate designer for Vera Wang, while Schmitz is the general manager at EVEN Hotel in Times Square. Impressive much?!

Obviously for these three, though, reality TV is way in the past. And it's amazing to that this friendship was real from the start.
