Her Tour, Starring A Giant Hot Dog

by Mallory Schlossberg

Literally, you guys. Miley's Bangerz tour is going to feature a giant hot dog, and there is nothing ironic/joking/false about it. Miley has been tweeting pics from rehearsals of her upcoming tour (with super descriptive anecdotes like "rehearsals hoe"), so fans and bashers alike have images to draw from when they cite just what the "We Can't Stop" singer has up her sleeve (or lack thereof).

Her tour, which kicks off in Vancouver on Valentine's Day, is definitely going to be something...special. For instance, she said it would feature "imaginative animals." WHAT IS AN IMAGINATIVE ANIMAL? I'm assuming it's like the blue head of a dog she's dancing next to in one of her recent #bangerz tweets, and help me, spirit of Hannah Montana, but where does one get the idea to be all, "for my tour, I want an animal from my MIND and an enormous hot dog."

MTV News reports she's teaming up with Ren & Stimpy creator John Kricfalusi to ensure that they "really tell a story," which means that the twisted and bizarre is going to take a starring role in this performance. She's definitely interested in the performance aspect, too, since explained, "it's how a play would be and we've got kind of these intermissions to keep people really involved and what I wanted is for people to see a show that they would least expect." Ooh, I love a good, dramatic, shocking play! Should I anticipate some Shakespearean moments!? (Probably not.)

But remember, everyone, she was pretty clear about this to MTV News. It's not all about imaginative animals, hot dogs, and swinging naked on a wrecking ball. It's about real, deep shit: the music. She said: "it is fun for people to walk out and be like 'Oh my god did she just do that?' but there's so much that I do love about shock value, but then I really want there to be that core about the music."

Surrounding that core of music is an enormous hot dog on which Miley can lie atop and suck her thumb! SERIOUSLY, THOUGH. IT'S ABOUT THE MUSIC.

And don't forget about the blue dog monster from your imagination!
