Kendall Jenner Just Made Straw Hats Cool Again

Kendall Jenner can make just about anything cool. From geek chic glasses to that time she wore a sweatshirt with heels, the 20-year-old model and reality show star can rock the heck out of any style. Her latest feat is the straw hat. Yep, that’s right: Kendall Jenner’s straw hat and crop top combo, which she wore on March 25 while out and about in Los Angeles, evoked all kinds of festival vibes. No surprise here, but I can’t wait to recreate it.

While Jenner’s outfit featured a bevy of spring 2016 trends, it was the straw hat that made her look unlike anything we’ve seen her wear before. At the base, Jenner’s outfit was very simple, consisting of what looked like mom jeans, a black crop top, and Stella McCartney flatforms. To take her look to the next level, she accessorized with none other than her favorite necklace — a '90s-esque choker, round sunglasses, and the pièce de résistance, a statement-making straw hat.

Needless to say, Jenner’s downtown spin on the beach favorite topper is decidedly cool, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this look becomes an off-duty model must. If you, like me, are a fan of Jenner’s beach meets street look, scroll down to see some of the coolest straw hats on the market.
