How Much Are The Kylie Metal Matte Lipsticks?

by Eliza Florendo

Kylie Jenner, you've done it again: Made the whole beauty world go into shock after you announced some new lipsticks. The Kylie Jenner Metal Matte Lipsticks made their rounds in the Snapchat and Instagram universes on April 10, when the 18-year-old businesswoman slash reality star posted some videos on her social media showing off the new hues. If we know one thing about Jenner, it's that she's pretty much got the lipstick world wrapped around her pretty little finger. And these shades prove her beauty prowess. But how much do they actually cost?

When reading all the reviews for the Kylie Jenner Lip Kits, it seems they are well worth the hype. So much so that I've actually looked into purchasing some myself. Unfortunately, I have quickly been discouraged by how difficult it is to get ahold of them. One day, trust me: I will have one of those gorgeous colors on my lips. If you're lucky enough to have snagged one or two by now, please feel free to send me a sample.

On April 10, Jenner posted two videos onto her Instagram page (and with 54.7 million followers, word spreads fast) announcing her three new colors and sheens: Reign, King K, and Heir. And boy, are they beautiful. Normally, metallic lipsticks are super intimidating to me, but something about these warm hues and blends makes them seem like they're totally easy to rock.

See what I mean? Jenner also shared a video of the packaging.

Clearly, she knows she's got the world in her hands. I can only imagine how much her fans are freaking out right now. So, if you want to get your paws on these, you're probably thinking about price. According to Forbes, her Lip Kits usually cost $29. But as everyone knows, they always sell out within minutes. Click through eBay, and you can actually see a mark-up of "$3,000 to sport the orange lip liner and matching lipstick."

So if the Kylie Metal Matte lipsticks are anything like her previous products, we can probably expect the same.

Alright, King Ky, this was a good move. BRB: Breaking open my piggy bank and mowing some lawns to get enough dough to splurge on all three.
