Vanessa Hudgens' Coachella Manicure Is Glamorous

by Melanie Richtman

Getting ready for Coachella is quite the process, or so I would imagine, considering I've never been to the cult festival. The unwritten rule of Coachella is that you must not only be prepared to spend all day partying in the desert, but you also must look incredibly stylish while doing so. Celebs have slowly started to reveal their pre-Coachella beauty routines, including Vanessa Hudgens, who shared a pic on Instagram of her $190 Coachella manicure, according to People.

Now, you might be thinking, "What exactly is included in a $190 manicure?" Well, the answer is nail gems. Lots and lots of nail gems. Hudgens posted a snap of her fresh mani on Wednesday morning, showing elaborate designs created out of tiny rhinestones, and frankly, it's pretty amazing, although rumor has it, the full application took about three hours.

Hudgens painted her almond-shaped nails a brownish taupe color before applying the nail gems around the base of her cuticles and in larger clusters towards the center of her nails. I have a hard time imagining that these gems would not get caught on everything, but boy do they look nice. Hudgens' Coachella manicure is inspiring and I would like to try to recreate it without spending $190.

Luckily, you can apply nail gems yourself (or with the help of your BFF) for a fraction of the cost.
