What Will Fenty Beauty By Rihanna Include? The Singer's Past Looks Could Offer Clues — PHOTOS
When you've got a style star like Rihanna with her make up always so on fleek, it's exciting to hear that she'll be launching her own beauty line. According to Women's Wear Daily, it's just been broken that Rihanna is creating a makeup brand with LVMH. WWD reported, "Kendo, which functions as an incubator producing products that end up being retailed by LVMH’s Sephora perfumery chain and other outposts, will launch a Rihanna makeup range, called Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, in the fall of 2017."
Cue the freak outs. Knowing her eclectic and devil-may-care style, you can only imagine the wild shades and fearless beauty looks she'll create for her beauty range. And the woman has experience under her belt — it's not like this is her first foray into the beauty world. According to WWD, she has seven perfumes out on the market, and "previously has collaborated in 2013 with MAC Cosmetics on a four-part, limited-edition RiRi Hearts MAC color cosmetics collection, and she also represented Viva Glam lipstick in 2014 to raise funds for AIDS research."
But while she clearly has all the credentials to rock our socks off, you might be thinking what I'm thinking right now: 2017 is so far away! So while we're left sitting on our hands until a whole year passes and we can see all the amazing shades RiRi comes up with, let's speculate on what the future Fenty Beauty by Rihanna line will have in it.
1. Science Defying Lipstick Formulas
Move over Kylie Kits, because RiRi's in town. In an old interview with Refinery 29, Rihanna admitted she has had beauty ideas kicking around in her head for quite some time now, including creating a lipstick that "doesn’t move, but doesn’t dry your lips out, that you don’t need a liner for." Yes, please.
2. Intense Nail Colors
Rihanna is no stranger to nail art or going playful when it comes to shades, so it'd be easy to assume that her new beauty line would have at least a few interesting if not out-there colors for those of us mani obsessed. Or even better: What if she came out with a nail art kit? A girl can dream.
3. Bold Eye Shadow Palettes
Here's to hoping that her eye shadow palettes would be just like her style: Fearless, reckless, and infused with a large dose of hard-to-pull-off wild. While chances are that she'll have a few neutral shades in her line, it'd be amazing if Rihanna's makeup line could cater more to that side of a person that wants to play with their makeup, rather than go subtle with it. Electric blue and neon pink, I'm looking at you.
4. Eyebrow Pencils
So we can copy those thick, heavy-handed brows. Yas please.
5. Waterproof Makeup
Not being a stranger to playing in the ocean, there could be a possibility she'd release a waterproof line. But not just of mascaras and eyeliners — it'd be interesting if she released lipsticks and eye shadows, too. Not every woman wants to go barefaced to the beach, right?
6. Electric Lip Gloss Shades
The market is over-saturated with pinks and reds when it comes to lippies. Let Rihanna's makeup line be our answer to our lavender and blue needs.
7. The Highlighters Of Our Dreams
Her skin always looks like it's airbrushed and glowing, which makes me hope that she comes out with a line of highlighters and creams that will help me achieve that same look. It'd be cruel to keep secrets like those under wraps.
8. The Vampiest Of All Vamp Lipsticks
A fan of dark, vamp colors herself, my guess would be that her line will have a few black cherry if not straight black hues. And I will hand her all of my money if that's true.
9. Unreal Lashes
Seeing how so many of her beauty looks revolve around intense eyelashes, it'd be amazing if she shared some of that style and released a line of unreal and doll-like lashes. It'd be perfect for a night out, where we could all channel our inner fearless RiRis.
Whether any of this is true, one thing is for certain: Rihanna's makeup line is going to be unreal, no matter what she comes up with.
