Sad, sad news: According to TMZ, Emmy Award-winning Everybody Loves Raymond actress Doris Roberts passed away on Sunday. She is survived by her son, Michael Cannata Jr. She was 90 years old.

Best known for her iconic (and four-time Emmy winning) turn as Marie Barone on beloved sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, Roberts also played Mildred Krebs on Remington Steele, Theresa Falco on Angie, Sofia on Melissa & Joey, Grandma Ruth on Lizzie McGuire, Peggy Roberts in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Francis in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and Claire Tanner on Full House. In addition to her multiple Everybody Loves Raymond wins, she also nabbed an Emmy for her guest starring role on medical drama St. Elsewhere.

Whether she made audiences cackle until their stomachs hurt or cry into their shirtsleeves, Roberts gave the world so many wonderful silver screen and small screen moments over the course of her illustrious, decades-long career.
