Pharrell's Adidas Collab Is Island Inspired

by Marc Cuenco

Leave it to Pharrell Williams to make your summer wardrobe even more stylish. The multi-talented artist and The Voice coach has once again partnered with Adidas Originals for a new limited edition line. Pharrell's Adidas collection, called Pink Beach, launches May 5 and will be sold at Adidas Originals and Billionaire Boys Club flagship stores, as well as online and select retailers.

The first images released from the Pink Beach line shows colorful and vibrant the entire collection promises to be. Pharrell was reportedly inspired by island culture while coming up with the designs for his Adidas collab. The bold graphics and slogans set in rich hues, including canary yellow and olive green, bring such life to the garments. The May 5 launch of Pink Beach will include a shirt and shorts set, along with a sport jacket embroidered on the back with "528HZ," famously coined by Dr. Leonard Horowitz as the frequency of love. The collection will release more items on May 12, including swimwear, kids, and two new Pharrell-designed sneakers that will be available in slip-on and lace-up styles.

Pharrell is no stranger to fashion collaborations with the athletic wear giant. The 2015 CFDA Fashion Icon previously teamed up with them for the Adidas Packer Shoes in 2014 and the Pharrell Williams x Adidas Jacquard Collection the following year.

No matter where you are, the Pink Beach collection will bring nothing but good island vibes.

Time and time again, Pharrell proves that he's a good fit with Adidas.
