Kylie Jenner Didn't Escort Her Sister To The WHCD

by Caitlin Flynn

Once a year, politicians, celebrities, media pundits, and pop culture icons come together in Washington D.C. for the White House Correspondents' Dinner. On April 30, Comedy Central's Larry Wilmore hosts the event and President Obama will take the stage for the last time as POTUS. No pop culture event would be complete without a Kardashian or a Jenner present, so it's no surprise that Kendall Jenner is attending the White House Correspondents' Dinner as a guest of USA Today. But her sister, who is also her business partner on a new fashion endeavor, is conspicuously absent from the red carpet — so why isn't Kylie Jenner at the White House Correspondents' Dinner?

It seems that her absence is simply because she didn't score an invite from any outlet (that's OK, Kylie — neither did any members of the Kardashian clan, so it looks like Kendall is the chosen one this year). But, we don't need to worry about Kylie because she has plenty to keep her busy. Not only is she Glamour UK's June cover girl, but she's busy keeping busy with her multiple fashion and make-up lines. In fact, instead of getting red-caret ready this morning, she posted this Instagram asking for feedback about her cosmetics line:

And while her sister walked the WHCD red carpet in a gown, Kylie posted a photo of herself in a much more casual outfit.

It's not clear where exactly Kylie is, but that's definitely not the White House Correspondents' Dinner. Perhaps Kendall will explain her sister's absence, but it seems like Kylie has plenty to do outside DC.
