How To Watch Obama's Nerd Prom Speech

by Nicole Pomarico

Well, it's official: President Obama's final White House Correspondents' Dinner is in the books. I'm sad to see him go, but what a way to leave — complete with a mic drop at the end and everything. But just in case you had a life on a Saturday night (who knew?!) or were doing something else that kept you from Nerd Prom, you're probably wondering how to watch Obama's 2016 Correspondents' Dinner speech now that the actual event is over. Don't worry, I've got you covered. You can definitely watch it at your convenience... and without having to suffer through an hour of strangers eating dinner first.

Although I suspect the dinner will re-air on C-SPAN or CNN, why wait to watch on TV? You can catch his speech now, and if you're on the fence about watching it in its entirety, let me be the one to convince you. If the promise of plentiful jokes about Trump, how much Obama has aged since taking office, or Michelle's love of veggies aren't enough for you, you need to watch it at least for the video about what he'll do when his term ends. Spoiler alert: It involves his bromance with Joe Biden, so you're not going to want to miss it.

Fortunately, this video of Obama's entire speech — all 40 minutes of it — has already hit YouTube. You're welcome!

I will miss Obama as president, and I will miss his jokes at this dinner every year.

Next year's POTUS has a lot to live up to!
