Jeffree Star Cosmetics is gearing up for the release of its anticipated Skin Frost highlighters later this month and for Beauty Killer, the indie brand's first-ever eyeshadow palette that is slated to land on May 25. But wait, there's even more to look forward to. A limited edition version of Jeffree Star Cosmetics Velour Liquid Lipsticks is on the way in five shades this July. These best-selling liquid lippies are akin to Kylie Lip Kits. They are richly pigmented, majorly matte, and are often sold out. The Velours have garnered a cult following, too.
It makes sense for JSC to capitalize on fan passion by launching five limited edition shades with bright yellow packaging, as opposed to the usual hot pink. The new hues can be purchased as a discounted bundle or on their own. While "new" is exciting for Jeffree Star devotees, who are often adventurous with their makeup, it still poses a scary thought. Is Jeffree Star Cosmetics changing the formula? What's the deal?
Everyone relax. According to the teaser Instagram post on the brand's official feed, the limited edition Velours will be infused with watermelon but the "amazing formula" will remain the same. Whew!
Observe the JSC tease. The new shades are coming in July. The exact date is TBA. So have some patience.

While it's cool to see revamped packaging for this launch, since it stokes the fires of excitement, how about a peek at the actual lippie shades themselves?
I suggest following both the brand and Star himself on Insta to stay ahead of the game and aware of all the great launches that are coming down the pike.
