Who Will Die On 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'? The Candidates Are Narrowing Down

For the moment, the gang on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. seems pretty unconcerned with who's on Team Iron Man and who's Team Cap — and honestly, I don't blame them. They're only trying to save the world and avoid a deathly prophecy all at once. Who will die on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ? It seems as if Daisy's vision is unavoidable, so we might as well get to speculating.

The obvious choice, right now, seems to be our old pal Lincoln. He made the silly decision to inject himself with Simmons' untested, experimental "Inhuman cure" or serum. Now he's weak and quarantined. When death has been prophesied, you can't go tempting fate like that. I also worry that James is being groomed as Lincoln's Inhuman, white male, anti-establishment replacement. Another potential goner is Mack, who isn't giving up on Daisy and is physically suffering for it as well. Those efforts may be to his detriment. Plus, Mack is close with Yo-Yo, whose necklace featured in Daisy's outer space vision.

Who else? As much as it pains me to say it, I'm also starting to worry about May. Her storyline with Andrew has come to a close, which I think ultimately did her character a lot of good. That journey is over. Ward is dead, for all intents and purposes, so there's nothing for her to avenge there. On the other hand, May's relationship with Daisy could always use some work, and she is a greater asset to the team than most of the other agents combined.

I think everyone agrees that Coulson is probably safe (knock on wood/terrigen crystals). What if it's Daisy herself? Please, for the love of all that is cursed and nerdy, just leave Fitz and Simmons out of this. The last two season finales have found a way to tear them apart from each other. Let's not make that a three-peat, OK? Honestly, I'm already expecting to be emotionally damaged after Civil War, so when this mystery team member ends up dying on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. it might actually break me, whoever it is.
