Kourtney Doesn't Want Tyga Around Scott

by Nicole Pomarico

As someone who has been hardcore rooting for Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick to get back together, this season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been a little heartbreaking so far. Now, Scott is living in a separate house, and despite his best efforts, it sounds like he's slipping back into his partying ways — and it might be because a certain friend of the family could be a negative influence on him. On this week's episode of KUWTK, Kourtney doesn't want Scott hanging out with Tyga, and I have a bad feeling it could cause some tension between her and Kylie if it goes on for much longer.

The good news: Lately, Scott seems to be working really hard to get Kourtney back, and a big part of accomplishing that goal requires that he ditch the clubs and alcohol and become a responsible dad who Kourtney can count on. The bad news: He let her down in a major way in this week's episode. It all started when he hosted a club appearance in New York right before Kanye West's show at Fashion Week, and then didn't show up to the event. And while the whole fam was in NYC, he tried to get Kourt to hang out with him to keep him from spending time with the wrong people, but Kourtney wanted to hang with her friends. And she actually made a pretty good point: She isn't responsible for keeping Scott out of trouble, Scott is.

So what does Tyga have to do with this? A lot, if you ask Kourtney. On last week's ep, he didn't show up for a dinner he was supposed to host for the entire Kardashian/Jenner clan because he'd spent 24 hours straight hanging out with Tyga's house, and Kourtney seemed to think that meant they were partying. And him being MIA at Kourt's show could have had something to do with Kylie's BF, too. Either way, their friendship may not be the best idea for Scott, who seems to be in a pretty difficult place right now.

But what Kourtney said is still true: Scott's the one who is in control of his own actions, although I totally get why she thinks he shouldn't be spending time with people who could encourage him to make the wrong decisions. Plus, how could anyone skip out on Kanye's show?! I totally would have taken his ticket.

Fingers crossed this whole mess gets straightened up soon. Scott deserves to live a healthy and happy life, in whatever way that's possible for him. And if he ends up with Kourtney again? Just icing on that beautiful couple cake.
