Blake Lively's Cannes Dress Looks Familiar

by Sienna Fantozzi

Given that last year she practically won the Cannes Film Festival with her fashion, it's no surprise with Blake Lively premiered Cafe Society in Cannes, according to People Magazine, in a drop-dead gorgeous gown. It was a complete princess moment on the red carpet, but when you see it, you might do a bit of a double take. This dress looks seriously familiar.

The actor is in the south of France for the annual Cannes Film Festival, and given that the locale is all kinds of glam, a seriously stunning gown is a must. Of course, if we can count on anyone to deliver that, it's Blake Lively, and she stepped out on Wednesday for the premiere of her new film, Cafe Society, and totally won the red carpet.

Lively showed off her barely-showing baby bump in a form-fitting, rose gold dress that brought so much sparkle. The Versace gown was completely embellished with crystals on the bodice, tapering off at the train. She wore her hair in her signature, loose waves, and kept her makeup light and fresh. It was the perfect amount of glitz and glamour for the French Riviera, and it may be my favorite look I've ever seen her in so far.

It's beyond gorgeous, and her hair and makeup kept it from feeling too over-the-top.

But I know what you're thinking — you've seen this dress before. It looks seriously similar to the gown she wore to the 2015 Met Gala.

This gown was Gucci, but the color is the exact same, the neckline is the same (except for thicker straps here), and the silhouette is nearly identical.

If it weren't for that cape she wore, I'd be convinced they were identical.

But hey, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?
