Brie Larson Doesn't Look Like This Anymore

by Kali Borovic

It's already been a big year for the actress and now it looks like she's got a major hair transformation to prove it. Ditching her blonde locks for something a bit more fiery, Brie Larson is now a redhead. You honestly have to see this one to believe it. The actress has had blonde hair for as long as I can remember, so this is a quite a big change. Although Larson has played around with the tint of her hair before, she's never had a more drastic look than this.

As a fellow redhead, I'd like to welcome Larson to the family. Although it's not natural, I think we'll still let her learn the secret handshake. All jokes aside, it might be one heck of a change for the award-winning star, but she looks stunning with the new 'do. Going from bronde to red isn't for everyone, but Larson completely pulls it off. Instead of going full-on red, Larson opted for a rusty-looking color that suits her perfectly.

According to Daily Mail, the red hair is for her new role as Jeanette Walls in The Glass Castle , a film adaptation of Walls' memoir by the same title. Although her new look isn't of her own doing, she looks pretty darn fab. It wouldn't surprise me if she decided to stick with it for a while after filming is done.

Just as a refresher, this is what she looked like before the big transformation.

Larson might not be the drastic hair change type, but she does have a knack for playing around with colors in her own way. She's constantly manipulating her hair to make it look completely different while not changing the color at all. If you're looking to switch it up without completely getting rid your natural hair, take a few pointers from the star herself.

1. Dark Brown Slicked Back Pony

Looking to go a few shades darker without the dye? Just opt for a slicked-back pony, like Larson did for the 2016 Met Gala.

2. Half-Pulled Back Bronde

Using the right hair products and a half-up style, the actress pulled off a different look while keeping her hair blonde at the same time.

3. Natural Blonde Curls

Her blonde hair was in full-effect with this loosely curled down-do.

4. Pulled Back

This pulled-back style left her hair natural and soft with flyaways.

5. Brown Bun

If I didn't already know that Larson was a blonde, I would definitely think that she was a brunette from this slicked back look.

6. Bright Blonde Pony

It's amazing how well she can pull off both a smooth chignon and a soft low ponytail.

7. Sleek Low-Bun

I don't know what the actress did to her hair to achieve this low-bun, but her hair almost looks red here. Maybe it's the curtain.

Seriously though, how crazy is that?

The girl is a hair wizard with or without the hair dye!
