Here's When You Can Shop The Kenzo x H&M Collab

by Kali Borovic

If ever there was a match made in sartorial heaven, it's Kenzo x H&M. This collection will combine a trendy stand-by brand with a label that's all about bold prints and taking chances, so you already know it's going to be great. Although the line won't be available until this fall, it will definitely be worth the wait.

H&M doesn't mess around when it comes to teaming up with designers. You might remember their blockbuster Balmaination collection or their collab with Karl Lagerfeld back in 2004. Now the company is at it again with yet another standout collection with Kenzo, the youthful and creative Parisian fashion house. There's no doubt in my mind that Creative Directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon will come up with something amazing.

So now for the big question: when does Kenzo x H&M officially launch? Well, you have some waiting to do. The line launches on Nov. 3 in select stores and online, according to H&M's site, but this range will certainly be worth it considering how both labels are killing the game, so don't despair — just start planning! The line will be jammed packed with everything from clothing to accessories for both men and women, so it certainly will take a lot of work to get off the ground.

“With this collaboration with H&M we want to think big, push the boundaries and bring the new energy of KENZO to everyone around the world,” says Lim and Leon said in a press release.

You can tell this is going to be a standout collection just from the initial Instagram teaser the brands posted to Instagram. With all the bright colors and bold patterns, it'll be exciting to see what they dream up.

“We can’t wait to share the world of KENZO x H&M with everyone, with all of its creativity, fun and love of fashion,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor at H&M in the press release.

The best part is that they're not designing for one specific type of person. In an interview with Mattie Kahn, the creative directors talked about how they will go about creating their collection.

”I think a dream customer is a new customer. We don’t have one girl in mind. And we never have," says Lim in the Kahn interview. "The more people that discover the brand and come to love the rich history behind the brand and what we’ve created — to us, that’s exciting.”

I can't wait to see what the two companies come up with! With all the excitement behind the line, November will be here before we even know it.
