You probably know Halsey from her joint hit single with Justin Bieber, "The Feeling," but there is much more to the singer than a set of powerhouse vocals. Halsey dyed her hair blue recently, proving she has a playful side when it comes to fashion and beauty. I thought the rainbow hair trend was dead when Hilary Duff ditched her pastel-colored locks for good, but it seems to be making a comeback in Hollywood.

The 21-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to debut her bright new 'do, with a selfie captioned, "It's time." Time for what exactly? A significant hair change-up? It certainly seems so. She flaunted vibrant turquoise strands in the same pixie cut she has been sporting for as long as we have known her. Before she opted to go blue, she rocked a chocolate brown, short mane that toggled between super sleek or coiled curly, so I wonder what brought on the dramatic and sudden transformation. Perhaps she wanted a new look for her summer Badlands tour.

The truth is, though, this isn't the first time the artist has toyed with blue hair. In fact, she has had pretty much every color and style in the book.
