Nicki Minaj's Boyfriend & More Celebrities With Tattoos of their significant others
No matter how many times people have been warned against getting tattoos of their significant other's name, there is always someone willing to take the risk and make permanent declarations of love. Take for instance Nicki Minaj's boyfriend Safaree "Scaff Beezy" Samuels, who added a portrait of Minaj's face to his body. Despite the controversial nature of the act, he isn't the only alone. Check out this list of celebrities who weren't afraid to show that their love is indeed, skin deep.
The Many Faces of Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend Safaree “Scaff Beezy” Samuels apparently deems his girlfriend the Helen of Troy of tattoos, as her face has launched a couple of his ink designs. He recently showed off an Instagram photo, in which he bears an inked version of the Head Barb in Charge’s visage on his chest. In November, Samuels released video footage of him getting a portrait of Minaj tattooed on his forearm.
Amber Rose & Wiz Khalifa
Model Amber Rose proved that she has no problem wearing her heart on her sleeve, or her forearm. Last spring, a few months before marrying “On My Level” rapper Wiz Khalifa, she got a very life-like tattoo of her soon-to-be husband bearing his signature toothy grin.
Drake Loves Aaliyah
To know Drake is to know that he is undoubtedly infatuated with late R & B songstress Aaliyah. Even though he never met her, he’s never shied away from expressing his undying love for someone we presume to have been his ideal lady. As if writing her love letters and remixing her songs weren’t enough, the “Take Care” rapper solidified his obsession with her by getting a huge tattoo of her face on his back.
Jermaine Dupri & Janet Jackson
Considering the fact that Janet Jackson has moved on and married someone else, it’s a safe bet that music producer Jermaine Dupri is probably regretting this tattoo right about now. Shortly before Dupri and Jackson ended their relationship in 2009, in what was rumored to be a birthday gift for Jackson, Dupri showed off this gigantic, Virgin Mary-inspired tattoo of Jackson’s face. That had to hurt, in more ways than one.
Nick Cannon & Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey’s new single “You’re Mine (Eternal)” isn’t the only long-lasting expression of her romance with husband Nick Cannon. Before their 2008 nuptials, Carey and Cannon each got back tattoos bearing one another’s names.
Heidi Klum & Seal
Model Heidi Klum and singer Seal appeared to have one of the sweetest marriages in Hollywood, but time told otherwise when the couple split in 2012. Along with their relationship went their adorable coordinating Halloween costumes as well as the tattoo of Seal’s name on Klum’s arm. According to photos released shortly after they announced their separation, Klum wasted no time having the ink lasered away, proving that she could no longer live with him, or his name.
Shenae Grimes & Josh Beech
90210 actress Shenae Grimes and her husband Josh Beech didn’t wait until they exchanged rings or “I do’s” before going publicly permanent with their love. Shortly before their wedding last year, Grimes posted a photo to her official website debuting the tattoo of Beech’s name and revealing that he has one bearing her name as well. The behind-the-ear location may have be discreet, but the couple’s choice to go the tattoo route shows their love certainly is not.
