See What Michelle Williams Wore To The 2016 Tonys

by Toria Sheffield

The Tonys are a time when the brightest stars in the world of theater get to step off the stage and dazzle on the red carpet. And Michelle Williams' look at the 2016 Tony Awards definitely didn't disappoint.

Williams, who's been nominated for Best Actress for her role in the drama Blackbird, opted for a form-fitting white dress with black spaghetti straps and a high middle slit. She accessorized with black strappy heels, a punk rock black and metal bracelet, and matching black clutch. She opted for a bold red lip, with her signature pixie cut grown to her ears. The ensemble is both simple, trendy, and stunning.

I've personally absolutely loved watching Williams' style transformation over the years. From '90s starlet, to stunning movie star, to her current super chic pixie dream girl vibe. She's seriously only getting more and more on her fashion game as the years go by, and I can't wait to see where her style evolution takes her next.

Although Williams has appeared on Broadway in the past, most notably for her role as Roxy in 2014's Cabaret, this marks her very first Tony nomination. In an interview with the New York Times, Williams stayed true to her totally humble and understated self by saying, "I’m new to it. I want to be here and I want to work hard to deserve a place here. I love this work and this life and the community of it."

Just know that I love you Michelle, regardless of whether or not you take home an award tonight! Oh, and also, you look amazing.
