What Is Kourtney Kardashian's Moisturizer Routine? The Answer Might Surprise You

It's basically drilled into us that we want our skin to be as hydrated as possible, so when you hear how often Kourtney Kardashian moisturizes, you might be a little surprised. Kardashian talked about her skincare routine, as reported by Us Weekly, and she's got a slightly different approach to taking care of her skin. But hey, her skin looks amazing, so whatever works!

You want healthy and glowing skin, so you make sure to moisturize day and night — but that's not the way to go according to Kourtney Kardashian. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star talked to Cosmopolitan UK, admitting that she only moisturizes her face once a week at night. What?! Isn't that contradicting literally every piece of beauty advice we've heard? Maybe not. "My skin isn't that dry, so my dermatologist told me just to use moisturizer when I feel like my skin needs it," Kourtney said.

If you have oily skin, then it's reasonable that you may not need as much moisture, but if your skin runs on the dry/dehydrated side, this probably isn't the best practice to follow. It's definitely working for her skin, though!

Check out a few other beauty tips Kourtney swears by to get her flawless skin.

1. She Uses Oil...On Her Eyelids

It might sound weird, but her reasoning is legit. “The skin around your eyes is so thin, I find creams to be a bit much and prefer the feeling of oils instead," Kourtney said.

2. She Swears By Coconut Oil

Nutiva Organic Virgin Coconut, $24, Amazon

"You can literally use it on your hair, skin, body, it does everything," Kourtney said. Preach. This statement is all of us.

3. She Loves Masks

From eye masks to hair masks, Kardashian tries them all.

4. She Uses Rosewater Spray

Kourtney has a secret to finishing off her makeup. "I have to spray my face when I'm done with a rosewater spray," she said.

5. She Incorporates Honey In Her Routine

“I have been a fan of the Manuka Doctor honey line for many years, so when the brand asked me to be their global skincare ambassador, I couldn’t have wished for a better partnership,” she said. For ways to incorporate honey into your routine, check out this list.
