'Pump Rules' Stars Are Raising Money For Orlando

by Kristie Rohwedder

In the aftermath of the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, the cast members of a popular Bravo reality television series have banded together for an important cause. The day following the horrific attack at Orlando gay club Pulse that left 49 people dead and over 50 injured, Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute created a GoFundMe page to raise money for those affected by the unspeakable act of hate. On June 12, the Pump Rules star set up WeHo Loves Orlando, and as of Thursday, the page has amassed over $3,000.

Fellow Pumpers Stassi Schroeder, Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, Brittany Cartwright, and Tom Schwartz also shared the link to the GoFundMe fundraiser on Twitter and Instagram, encouraging their thousands of social media followers to donate to the page.

“In the spirit of LA Pride, we want to raise as much money as possible to donate to the Red Cross and to the families affected by the Orlando tragedy that occurred yesterday,” reads the WeHo Loves Orlando GoFundMe page mission statement. “Orlando, WeHo loves you and we are with you.”

If you would like to donate money to WeHo Loves Orlando, you can check out the GoFundMe page here.

Way to use your fame for good, Pumpers.
