How To Get Tickets To The Made In America Festival

by Jordana Lipsitz

The lineup for Made In America 2016 according to the website is actually fire so it stands to reason that everyone's going to want to run out and buy tickets right away (or at least buy some water and a fan to calm themselves down). The Philadelphia music festival will take place Labor Day Weekend September 3 and 4 at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and the headliners include the enormous talents of Rihanna and Coldplay. Meanwhile, the lower-billed acts are also stellar with up and comers gracing the stage like SZA, Sir the Baptist, and Bibi Bourelly (the writer behind Rihanna's "B*tch Better Have My Money"). But where does one buy tickets for Made In America?

If you are pretty certain right this very second that you want to be at Made in America this year (because, duh, you should be), you can get tickets on pre-sale June 22 at 10 a.m. EST exclusively on TIDAL. Which makes sense because the Budweiser Made In America festival was started by none other than TIDAL's founder, Mr. Beyoncé Knowles (some call him Jay Z). If you don't have a TIDAL subscription, then you'll be unable to order tickets on pre-sale. Isn't that TIDAL subscription looking like a much more enticing idea?

If you choose to not get on the TIDAL train, the website says that tickets for the general public can be purchased on Monday, June 27 at 10:00 a.m. EST at www.livenation.com or www.ticketmaster.com. But, if you have a TIDAL subscription and can't actually make it to Philadelphia for the festival, the festival’s Rocky, Liberty, and TIDAL stages will be live streamed in their entirety on the website (oh, and on an unrelated note, you can watch Bey's Lemonade whenever you want).

The two types of tickets are two-day passes, the "Weekend," and the slightly more exciting sounding, "Ultimate MIA Experience." One person can buy eight tickets, if they are so inclined to make a bunch of people happy.

This year's Made In America has a great lineup, which the Made in America website claims is personally curated by Jay Z. There's also a strong hip hop vibe, so it would be a shame to miss if that's your jam (or if your hunger for some Coldplay will simply not abate). Whichever option you choose, it is undeniable that Made in America is going to be insane this year, so you'd better get those tickets.
