Just because it's summer doesn't mean awards shows are taking a vacation, too. You can get your fill of red carpet glamour with the 2016 BET Awards on Sunday night as the ceremony honors the best in black entertainment. Even if you're on summer vacation, you can keep up with the best quotes from the 2016 BET Awards here. The event is being held June 26 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles and is sure to be a fun night of music and entertainment that will produce some iconic summer 2016 moments.

Among the scheduled performers at this year's BET Awards are Stevie Wonder, French Montana, Tori Kelly, Future, The Roots, Usher, and Alicia Keys. Trophies will be given out in categories like Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Best Gospel Award, Best Actress, Best Movie, and Coca-Cola Viewer's Choice Award, which is voted on by viewers online. Samuel L. Jackson will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award and activist/actor Jesse Williams will be bestowed with the Humanitarian Award for his work with the Black Lives Matter movement, including exec producing the documentary Stay Woke: The Movement for Black Lives Matter.

Lawson said this as she picked up Beyonce's Coca-Cola Viewers Choice award, pretty much saying everyone should keep on obsessing about her awesome daughter.
